Really satisfied

I was looking for a portable home backup and activity friendly battery unit. I was also looking for a sturdy and a future proof battery. If I had to purchase a LiFePO4 chemistry battery that last for 2000+ cycle, it also had to have port like USB-C 100 Watts ports that will be used for the next 10 years and wireless charging that will become a standard with portless phone soon. I also wanted to maybe avoid touchscreen and rather have physical button for longevity. Keep it simple and functionnal.

Each time I was looking for such device I ended up on Bluetti website for the AC200P which looked incredibly versatile but defeating the purpose of a portable unit at lower price. Even if it was fun thinking making expresso and toast during power outage, the main goal was to power up my full size refrigerator at home, internet, have a fan to move hot air around and charge electronic devices in case of emergency during winter.

This is where the EB70 came to market and my attention. The device mostly deliver a perfect score. The case is sturdy and feel solid. I like the heavy plastic that remind me strongly material used on DeWalts tools. There is rubbers at all strategic points like under the handle and under the device to always make it feel good moving around. It really feel like one brick.

DC Output part is flawless and powered everything I pluged in it. Macbook, iPhone, iPad, AA battery charger on 12V, ham radio device and wireless charging. It regulated and stable.

AC Output is pretty good and also totally silent for even load up to 150-200+ Watts which impressed me. When the fan kick in it is a nice breeze without high pitch tone. So you can keep running device silently overnight without issue and that was finally an important I overlooked before buying. However I was a bit disappointed by the peak AC which I don’t think can go over 700 Watt to be honest. But it is capable of sustained 700Watt output without issue. So it is really build for steady and silent low-mid power device.

Charging is really versatile with AC power, DC12-24V, solar panel and even car battery. It is also a passthrough meaning the power that get in will go out if needed or the difference will recharge the battery. I used the EB70 on my electric car with the provided lighter plug which can charge the unit at 120Watt for many days constantly. That is the perfect solution if there is no sun since I can power my refrigerator for weeks using that constant input of power.

Forget about peoples complaining about low button light outside and the little screen that automatically shutdown after 10 seconds. It's fun to look at those at the beginning but in the end this is not the purpose of this device. The important things here are battery chemistry with high cycle count, silence, stability and versatility, this one have it all.

All good so far

So far it all looks good, haven’t had a chance to test it much yet, but it ran an electric cooler that draws 52 W at max cold for 10 hours, and then at a medium cold string for about 25 hours… so far that all the testing I’ve been able to do. Recharge is about 3-4 hours from the wall.

Only negative so far is the display, it really could be better, it’s bright and clear but is very limited on info… plus it ran for several hours after showing the batter was exhausted…

Great Quality and Value

Liking the power station so far! Everything charges well and it runs just fine. I have no concerns about the performance so far and am excited to bring the station on the road. Fantastic value for tmsuch great quality at these price points. My biggest issue is the same as most reviews you'll see online. The remaining battery power is a display that shows values that don't clearly indicate the amount of power remaining. I do wish it was an actual number display that says, for example, 34%, rather than trying to guess if you have 44% or 36% when the read just says 40% with the next option being 20%.

Great Power Station with typical complaints

Love the LiFePO4 battery potential which is why I purchased this over the competition. The size is good, features great. The typical complaints are the same- the lights on the switches are hard to see, the battery % charge state would be nice to have numbers instead of bars and I would prefer the light from the 50 to be carried over to the 70. Also, why isn’t the EB-70s available in Canada?? Otherwise, it is going to be a fabulous addition to our Earthquake Preparedness Kit on the West coast (and a Jeep Overland build- but don’t tell my wife)
